What the Client Needed

The Client provided a detailed PDF outlining MEP equipment guidelines along with an updated equipment change list for the main kitchen. The expectation was clear: translate the documentation into a fully coordinated BIM model, align all utilities with equipment specifications, and deliver construction-ready foodservice plans without ambiguity — not just drawings, but usable documentation.

The Approach

INNERLUXES worked inside a BIM360 collaborative environment from day one. The centralized Revit model allowed all stakeholders to work within a controlled ecosystem — no version confusion, no disconnected files. Equipment layouts were developed directly from the provided lists and guideline documentation, each asset tagged accurately, utilities mapped carefully, and spatial clearances reviewed against real-world constraints.

Plumbing systems were modeled with precise pipe routing and fixture placement, electrical layouts included detailed connection points and elevation coordination, and mechanical considerations were validated against equipment loads and space constraints. Every drawing went through consistency checks to ensure alignment between equipment placement, MEP services, and building conditions.

Collaboration happened inside BIM360 using the Client's central Revit file.
