The Client wanted to create a user-friendly UI for user-to-workstation communication and to develop an application that tracks and encourages employee physical activity — making movement an easy, natural part of the working day.

Software That Guides Movement and Gamifies Wellness

As an experienced web development and UI design service provider, INNERLUXES was chosen for the task. The team delivered software that adjusts the elements of the workstations to guide employees to move, so the transition into a more active posture happens in a smooth, user-controlled way.

The solution also calculates the calories burnt, monitors motor activity, sets users fitness challenges, and rewards health-related achievements with virtual prizes. A user profile system stores personalized settings, schedules of furniture-position changes, and activity data; to let people synchronize settings across environments — for example, at work and at home — the system was linked to Azure Cloud. Users can interact with it in both online and offline modes, uploading personal settings via USB flash drives.

INNERLUXES's specialists also refactored the code across all devices in the Client's active motion workstation system, implementing a modern programming architecture that enabled:
