Cloud Solutions Architect

About the Role

INNERLUXES is hiring a Cloud Solutions Architect to design and lead cloud-native architectures for our most demanding client projects. You'll own the infrastructure strategy for multi-region deployments, define cloud migration roadmaps, and establish best practices for security, cost optimization, and performance. This is a leadership role that bridges engineering and strategy.

Responsibilities

• Design cloud-native architectures for enterprise applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi
• Lead cloud migration planning and execution for legacy system modernization
• Establish security best practices, compliance frameworks, and governance policies
• Design multi-region, high-availability architectures with disaster recovery strategies
• Optimize cloud costs through right-sizing, reserved instances, and architectural improvements
• Set up observability stacks (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana) with alerting and SLO monitoring
• Mentor DevOps engineers and collaborate with engineering teams on architectural decisions

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure engineering, or DevOps leadership
• Deep expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS preferred, Azure or GCP acceptable)
• Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi)
• Hands-on experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS/EKS, AKS)
• Expertise in networking (VPC, DNS, load balancing, CDN, VPN)
• Understanding of security best practices (IAM, encryption, compliance frameworks like SOC2, HIPAA)
• Experience with serverless architectures (Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions)
• Excellent communication skills for presenting architectural decisions to stakeholders

Nice to Have

• AWS Solutions Architect Professional or Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification
• Experience with GitOps workflows (ArgoCD, Flux)
• Knowledge of FinOps practices and cloud cost management tools
• Experience with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd) and API gateway patterns
• Background in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, government)
