About the Role

INNERLUXES is hiring a QA Automation Engineer to build and maintain automated testing frameworks that ensure the quality and reliability of our client applications. You'll design test strategies, write end-to-end and API tests, and integrate automated quality gates into CI/CD pipelines. If you're passionate about software quality and love writing clean, maintainable test code, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement automated test frameworks for web and mobile applications using Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium
  • Write and maintain end-to-end, integration, and API tests with comprehensive coverage
  • Create and manage test data, fixtures, and mock services for reliable test execution
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
  • Perform API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or custom HTTP clients
  • Set up performance and load testing using k6, Artillery, or JMeter
  • Collaborate with developers to define acceptance criteria and testing requirements
  • Generate test reports, analyze failure patterns, and provide quality metrics to the team

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in QA automation or software development in test (SDET) roles
  • Strong proficiency with at least one test automation framework (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium)
  • Solid programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python
  • Experience with API testing tools and REST/GraphQL endpoint validation
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how to integrate automated tests
  • Familiarity with test management tools and reporting frameworks
  • Knowledge of mobile testing strategies and tools (Appium, Detox) is a plus
  • Strong analytical thinking with attention to edge cases and failure scenarios

Nice to Have

  • Experience with visual regression testing (Percy, Chromatic)
  • Knowledge of contract testing (Pact) for microservices
  • Familiarity with accessibility testing tools (axe, Lighthouse)
  • Experience with Docker for test environment management
  • ISTQB or similar QA certification
